Friday: Getting Ready

I left work early to help colleagues set up for our Coronation event tomorrow.  Much to everyone’s surprise I am very adept at tying bows on chairs.  

This evening I went to my US colleagues for dinner.  She told me her chef makes excellent ribs and she was absolutely right.  

I have to say, I’m such a good diplomat.  At one point I nearly swallowed a dead fly swimming in my red wine.  No reflection on my colleague, that type of thing can happen here.  Instead of gagging, and running around the room shrieking, I quietly removed it, placed it under my fork and then dropped it on the floor while no-one was looking.  Admiration, please!
