Grasmere Gingerbread

We drove into the lakes for lunch with A&GH at Mathilde's in Grasmere.  It was very tasty and it was good to see them both.

On the walk back to the car we passed Grasmere Gingerbread - and there is always a lovely aroma wafting around from the ovens.  Some biscuits found their way home with us.

I was surprised how quiet it was everywhere and parking was easier than most bank holiday weekends.
