Lesser Black-Backed Gull

I don't think I have ever seen so few birds up at the Heritage Park .... where have they gone I wonder?

Not a Black-Headed Gull to be seen and only a fraction of the number of geese that usually make their home at the loch. The female swan is on her nest so her mate had all the space on the loch that he could possibly need or want.

I rather liked the black nail varnish on the gull's feet.
