Coronation ready!

This little phone box is a miniature art gallery and it looks like someone has decorated it ready for tomorrow's Coronation.


Ann wouldn't exactly say she is a royalist. She very much admired and respected the Queen, but she doesn't really have an opinion about King Charles. Sounds a bit unkind, but he's not going to be around for long is he? Most of us have never lived with a Monarch, other than the Queen, and to think she was still working two days before her death (meeting Liz Truss) is quite incredible.


However, the Coronation is an important event in the history of the UK, and as such, Ann wants to be part of it. St Ives are putting up a big screen on the Harbour, with the assumption that everyone would sit on the beach watching it. Ann's idea was that she would gather up a few friends (including me), put on her 'Union Jack dress' and sit on the beach drinking Prosecco.


Mmmmmm................... best laid plans and all that...............


None of her friends want to come out to play and according to our weather app (which usually lies) it's going to be raining for most of tomorrow anyway.
