Progress

... but slow.

The Tiler had been booked in on Wednesday for two days work.  Unfortunately for him his van failed its MOT on Tuesday and he didn't get here until this morning.  This is as far as he could get .. having arrived at 7.45 he left at just after 11. He now has a weeks holiday and will not be back till 16th <facepalm> so next weeks plan to complete the bathroom is now on hold.  They cannot get the glass up or the second fix until his tiling is finished.  these tiles had to be bedded out so needs 2 days to set before he can do any more.  ... it is frustrating but now nothing can be done till he is back from holidays other than the woodwork to cover pipes and strengthen the top shelf of the cupboard for the fitting of the top.
Warm between heavy showers today.. I have put the Padron peppers into the mini greenhouse so that they can be blown a bit but not hammered by the thundery rain.  
Flower friday.. I should have posted it as the main one but instead it is in extras.. the iris are all coming out now.. a lovely splash of colour and upright like soldiers on parade.. very fitting!
