Speckled Wood

I went back to Meathop Moss this morning to try to photograph an Emperor Moth.  When I was there two days ago I had two brief sightings but failed to get a picture;  today I didn't even get a sighting!  I shall try again when there is a little less breeze.

I took some more pictures of the Green Hairstreaks but, rather than repeat that, here is a pristine Speckled Wood butterfly.
