Delayed gratification

Lunchtime passed in a flurry of clap, clap, cheer, cheer, supporting Edinburgh marathon runners. I was so engrossed in this complicated task that I forgot to leave in time to go cycling with a friend. We made up for it with a very late coffee, cake and a natter. Absolutely scrumptious carrot cake at Leo's Beanery!
