Have you ever seen a snail on a tree? Me, never. Contrary to popular opinion, snails hate water for fear of drowning. That's why they leave their hiding places when a heavy rain threatens to drown them. This particuliarly clever snail found shelter in a tree which indicates the level of humidity we've reached so far. This is what husb explained to me anyway while we were having lunch under the tree snail. I have to admit that I do believe his story!
