OUTSTANDING SENIORS

Each year, the Elkhart Lake Men's Service Club hosts a group of Outstanding Seniors at an evening meal and a chance to make connections with local citizens of importance. If they look familiar most of these individuals are also scholarship winners...see yesterday's Blip.

Mens Club members sit with the students in small groups and, while enjoying a meal, they trade syllables as the men find out about each student's interests.  Very often, the Seniors find a like-minded mentor which can blossom into all sorts of "connections" and financial aid.

The Seniors are chosen by the high school faculty according to expertise in subject category: Agriculture, Art, Business Ed., Computer Science, English, Family & Consumer Science, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Music-Instrumental, Music-Vocal, Physical Ed., Science, Social Studies and Technology Ed.
