Old Punks

Stewart ( bass and vocals ), Ian ( drums ) and me. A one off band for Jam night.

After Ian had such fun helping out at Hendstock by being an ace stand in drummer I thought I’d drag him along to jam.

Hardly had to drag him, we decided on a couple of early Damned songs, New Rose and Neat Neat Neat and asked Stewart if he’d play bass and sing.

I’ve only met Stewart a couple of times but knew he loved the Damned and he was well up for it.

No rehearsals, minimum preparation we just got up and did it. How did it sound? I have no idea as all I could hear was the blinking drums…. Good fun though and people in the audience said it was good and tight ( and then the drums were very loud ).
