Slowly Opening

This magnolia tree is in the cemetery where my parents are buried. When my mom and dad bought their plots, she wanted plots next to this magnolia tree. So they bought them. A few years later, they were contacted and told they would have to pick new plots. The roots of the tree were spreading and digging in that area might kill the tree. My mom was disappointed, but she is buried probably within 50 feet of it. It’s a huge magnolia tree loaded with buds, but right now only one is open which happened to be so far above my head I couldn’t get a picture of it. I’ll be going back soon to see it in full bloom.
