Bug

Today I finally found the bug I was looking for in our software, and I know how to fix it. The whole process was a bit like a solving fiendishly difficult word or number puzzle: the feelings on finding it it we of elation, and relief that four days hadn't been wasted! However, unlike a game, it should mean that we can solve all the problems of at least one client.

I also had no meeting with PhD student J, a brief virtual one with PhD student M, and then an interesting two-hour chat with a visiting MSc graduate. He'd never been to Edinburgh, having taken the programme entirely at distance (in 2020-21).

Back home I started fixing the bug, but got tired and had to walk Django anyway.
