Temple of Apollo

Went on an office social outing to Jupiter Artland today, and someone mentioned what a terribly cheesy name it is. Never thought of it before, but it really is.

Anyway... it's a sculpture park and this piece is by the late Ian Hamilton Finlay. The sun was streaming through the trees and oculus as the leaves are still opening here.

To be honest, my favourite things today were the boat pond and the way the landscape forms the setting for the artworks. The woodland flowers and the birds were lovely. Saw and heard loads of the latter, including a tree creeper and nesting swans.
