After the rain

It had rained overnight we discovered when we woke up this morning. The morning was warm though so we set off mid morning to go to the small sandy beach at the lagoon. We got the Dolmus down to the beach area then walked the mile or so along the road towards the beach. We'd got about half way when the heavens opened again. We took shelter, but after about 10 minutes reckoned that even if it stopped immediately it wasn't really beach weather any longer. We headed back along the road in the rain. Joy!
We had some lunch in one of the Turkish cafes in Olu Deniz and by the time we'd finished the rain had stopped. Back to the hotel on a Dolmus. The pool area looked rather different after the rain. I rather liked the symmetry and was impressed by how tidy it all looked.
Entertainment tonight is a group of acrobatic dancers. They turned out to be very energetic Cuban Salsa dancers. Most impressive.
