Another Day, Another Church
Alternative title - what the organist saw
Hampnett church as seen in the rear view mirror on the organ. I guess it is there to show the organist what is going on. I read somewhere that female organists can also use it to check their make up.
We decided on a walk to Hampnett this morning in a subconscious drive to get more exercise and lose some weight. Unfortunately we had to walk past the Old Prison café on our way back. It was quiet so we popped in for a sausage and egg buttie, and a pasty.
The historical society presentation last night was a bit disappointing. There was a lot of potentially good stuff in it, but technical issues and a lack of informative slides let it down. We did however learn that the hall was to be used as the polling station today. We hadn't realised and would have turned up at the 'usual' Cotswold Hall by mistake. We've voted now - we could chose up to 11 out of 17 candidates for the town council, most of whom we hadn't heard anything about. I met some friends on the way out. They had indeed gone to the wrong hall first.
It's a busy day today. The town crier competition is on this evening. I haven't entered.

Bourton People
One of my favourites from last year. I did a lot of rework on this for the camera club multiple exposures competition, but sadly it was not appreciated by the judge.
