Karlskirche
Day 2 of the bank holiday weekend in Vienna with the missus. Today involved slightly less walking than yesterday (we slept in til about 10am, shattered from the touristy over-exertion) but still managed about over seven miles, according to my trusty pedometer.
We started the day with a breakfast (well, brunch by the time we dragged ourselves out) that was out of this world. A place called Haas & Haas in Stephansplatz if you're interested. In fact I nearly blipped breakfast, it was so good. After that we wandered round to find a market called Naschmarkt only to find it closes on a Sunday. But hey, it was a nice walk. Nearby we found this very photogenic church, St Charles. Or Karlskirche as the locals have it.
Then an ice cream on the walk back, a rest, a glass of wine and now back out again for dinner.
Happy days.
