Forest creatures

What a contrast, the weather today was just beautiful and there were quite a few varieties of butterfly. Not easy to catch though. I managed to get a Small Copper and an Orange Tip. The Speckled Wood was a complete blur. The bird is a Woodcock and not a good shot by any means I was just sooo happy to manage a capture. A very unusual bird with a long beak and a very distinctive cry.
