Proud Mamma

The two little ones just flew the nest. 
She's been there for approximately two weeks, at the entrance of our house, the nest right inside the orchid cactus basket. The incubation period lasts about 14 days and both the male and female take part. The male usually sits on the nest during the day while the female takes her turn at night. The nest is rarely left unattended. Just incredible.


Workday and a short walk with a blip friend. ;o)
