Granada to Barcelona

Our friends drove us to Granada Train Station in plenty of time for us to catch the 13:15 train to Cordoba, where we would change for the train to Granada.  It was extremely busy as today was the last day of a five-day festive season, so we were pleased to be there in good time.  The train left on time and arrived in Cordoba on time.  However, the train for Granada was half an hour late - most unusual.  It means we’ll arrive in Barcelona later than expected.  When we went down to the platform a very long train was waiting, then another train arrived and the two were joined together.  Now it was an extremely long train!  We didn’t arrive in Barcelona until about 21:10, so we were very late.  The hotel was very close to the station - a 4-minute walk.  We decided to walk to a restaurant across the road for dinner.  We both had fish, but two different dishes, both of which were delicious.  We were then very naughty and had dessert, which was also delicious.  It’s now midnight in Barcelona, so time for bed.
