Buckie

Another morning of trimming exercises, this time after removing shoes. There were an awful lot of remedial shoes and some shockingly horrific hooves.. Some of those were then cut in half to investigate further.

The afternoon was about honing our Horsemanship skills and I was delighted to work with Buckie, a sensitive gentleman we had seen yesterday working beautifully at liberty. 

I am humbled to be surrounded by such fantastic mentors and peers.

I am also exhausted. 

And so thankful to Gorgeous for doing such a fabby job looking after the herd back home.

Now for bed!
