Peacock
I did some more digging out our wildlife pond this morning. I am nearly down to the subsoil level which will be harder to dig. This afternoon I wanted to see if the swans had hatched their eggs but they were still sitting on them. We walked on the higher path to Otterton and returned via the river where I saw a kingfisher flying down river. This peacock butterfly kept landing on the footpath, presumably because the concrete was warm. I caught it stopping on a leaf. Walking back down the new road, we spotted the workmen laying down a new pipe, photo in extras.
