#NoMowMay

No mow May is the tag used to encourage people to resist mowing their lawns in favour of letting things go wild. The reason is to allow wild flowers to grow that attract bees and other pollinators. We tried it last year. We weren’t too successful but we’ve prepared the ground and the Head Gardener has been growing wild flowers which she has planted and we scattered wild flower seeds too. I’ll keep you posted on progress.
After No mow May comes Let it bloom June!
