Berberis

A warm sunny day, and a busy day: big supermarket delivery, laundry galore, physio visit for Dad, gardening. Gardening was a right palaver. Thought Dad would like half an hour’s gentle wheelchair gardening, lightly trimming the 8ft Hebe. Big mistake! He had very different ideas and, three hours later, following his instructions, the 8ft Hebe is now a 3ft bunch of bare sticks, and my legs and arms have turned to jelly!
