Green Hairstreak

What a glorious day.  I set off to go to Silverdale to look for Green Winged Orchids but there were traffic issues on the A590 so I diverted to Meathop Moss where there were masses of Green Hairstreak butterflies on the wing.  They are such lively little butterflies and so pretty.
