Place: Largo, FL 71/80
Main activity: Tues - roof scan in Bushnell
Notes: Somehow didn't stay up any later than usual - was very tired. Still woke early-ish. Had coffee and put tog the pound cake muffin ingredients while waiting for Nestor to come and do the first stage of patching the big hole cut over the toilet where the Re-piping guys needed access for their project. He was late and then in and out 3x, took longer than I thought. Decided to check out Salvation Army then (not impressed) and did a stop at Aldi for more berries (and of course got a handful of other things including the final 2 Barnana plantain chips - I think I must've bought 99% of their shipment of the Himalayan variety!). Didn't feel like going to pool. Assembled the pound cake in loaf pan, added some frozen chunks of strawberry and still seemed too think so added a little almond milk - something didn't work quite right tho as it didn't firm up like it should (still tastes great!). Made lunch then and seemed like I just kept washing more and more dishes. Finished "A Thousand Splendid Suns" - whew, rough book but good! Joe here around 530p, gas on the way north, arrived Bushnell 730p. 2 roofs of the same size, our guy Todd was the one giving us access and he helps carry equipment and is quite nice. Both roofs went pretty quickly and smooothly - Joe doesn't seem to be doing great. We got all loaded up and were pulling out when Joe realized he didn't have his phone so we had to catch Todd, unload the big ladder and set it up again inside - he was sure he left it on the first roof ... wasn't there so we had to take down the ladder, move it to the other building where we finally located it. I wasn't super upset but it did set up back a good half hour or more. Stopped for bathroom on way out and Joe needed a Mountain Dew. He dropped me off just after 11p - was a much later night of getting to sleep.
