Mungrisedale Common ford.

OK, I know it is marked on maps as Calbeck Common but Caldbeck is several miles away and Mungrisedale is just down the road.  On top of that, I have always known it as Mungrisedale Common.

Clickychick had a client on a camera course, and as it was a bank holiday we kept away from the popular places.  There were a fair number of cars on the common but the occupants seemed to have headed up the fells.  While Clickychick worked with the client I wandered round looking for blips. There was very little road traffic crossing the Ford.  The most interesting were these two horses and a cyclist (who was blipped by CC).

Inte afternoon I put the finishing touches to the staining/wood preserving at the Lodge.
