Grey Heron

Only one Heron over today (unfortunately Peppa and her owner were up early and Peppa chases everything in sight). It was the Youngest female. I saw her fly down from the top of the dovecote as I entered the park. She had a bit of a feed before Peppa chased her. However she just flew further into the park and landed.  She had a good feed then flew over to the water for a bit more. The crow was around as well. Fascinating to watch it. It ate the first bit of fish, which it took from right in front of the heron. The second bit got hidden under some grass cuttings as did two biscuits.
