Day four - fishing trip to the River Dee.

Last day of our fishing trip and it still hadn't rained. Encouraged by seeing some fish in this pool on Saturday, we tried it again and conditions seemed perfect apart from the lack of water in the river. Saw a couple of fish, but they are wary, odd things that don't do what you want them to do most of the time. So another fishless day before another barbeque lunch and the depressing drive home.

I thought this was a stonefly or a caddis, both good food for trout, but I'm not so sure now. Will need to read up on my insects. You can just see my fishing pal Dave in the river behind.
