Endlich

Finally - after two lost finals in the last three years Bayern Munich won the Champions League Trophy! And they absolutely deserved it! It wasn't the best game - but at least in the second half Bayern was the better team.

The night following the final whistle was a fairly long one, with rather too many beers. But hey, you only win the Champions League once (a year).

The blip shows a Bayern flag in front of Brasserie Tresznjewski. The weather obviously wasn't the best - the Munich sky decided to cry tears of joy. And quite a lot, too.

On a more serious note: Could somebody please explain to me, what those UEFA guys thought when they decided to perform that opening choreography?! I actually felt offended - and not only mildly. Playing war in an English football stadium just before two German teams play against each other is in my opinion highly inappropriate. I half expected that "German Panzers" would roll around the field at some point.
