Hidden away….

surrounded by mountains, the only sounds today were Skylarks, Curlew, Lapwings and Oyster catchers. They nest up here undisturbed.
The buildings are those of the old Catholic seminary, dating from the Covenanting times when Catholicism was banned. Can’t imagine how those young  boys felt arriving here and then only able to grow and eat oats and kale. Their faith must have been strong!
