MM: Tradition

Thanks to our MM host, ApolloFly, for the theme of ‘tradition.’
I have a new-ish weekly tradition which I share with lots of townsfolk. It’s Hamburger Night at the American Legion. Long lines every week.

Burgers or cheeseburgers with the fixin’s plus fries (chips) or chips (crisps). Delicious onion rings are available for an extra buck. Did I correctly translate from English to English?

Unfortunately, tonight no one from either church group showed up to join me. Next time, I hope.

My girlfriend, and I are trying this whole “long distance relationship“ thing.
I have to stay 100 feet away from her at all times, and the police say that I need to stop calling her my girlfriend.
