A wet sparrow on this rainy and windy day. Too much rain, so we did not work.
I am going to start looking for another place to live. I have an appointment with my bank on Thursday afternoon to talk about the money I received from the pension split when the ex and I divorced. I hope they tell me I can use some of it towards a down payment on a mini home. I am tired of dealing with slum landlords.
The gauge on the oil tank is difficult to see unless I take a flashlight down there with me, I looked at it last week, and thought there was still a quarter tank of oil there. I never realized there were 5 lines on this gauge. I woke up this morning and there was no heat. I took a flashlight downstairs to have a closer look at the tank and found out it was empty. I had no problem getting oil delivered, they were here by 9 am. Now the lines need to be bled but I cannot seem to be able to watch a video to learn how to do it myself. The landlord called his furnace people, they cannot get here till Wednesday. They told him to call the emergency line after 5 pm, but the tech never showed up for work tonight. He was going to call the owner to find out about using another company, but I have not heard from him again. I posted in a local FB group to try and find someone, all I got was people telling me to watch a Youtube video. I am so frustrated I am sitting here in tears.
The only heat I have is in the upstairs bedrooms and I have no hot water.
Edited - A woman saw my post on the FB group, she messaged me for my address and came right over with her husband. He was able to bleed the line and there is heat coming out of the registers now. I might tell the landlord tomorrow, or I might not, I will see how things go tomorrow.
