edinburgh marathon start line

i went to see the start of the edinburgh marathon, which my eldest daughter has been one of many involved in the organisation of today's event. she was specifically involved in looking after the elite athletes.

as the starter fired his gun, with smoke still in the air, the elite runners all synchronised watches before their initial dash.

massive respect to all runners today !!!!!!
