Memories

Today has been floor cleaning day - three rooms and stairs done, several yet to do. The painter is nowhere near finished, even though he has worked all weekend and today; the joiner has cupboards to complete - and the carpets are being laid on Friday. I need a large gin and tonic!
On the plus side these floors have brought back memories of childhood homes with a central carpet and paint around the sides of the floor
