Festive fun in Larkhall
Typically wet for the festive weekend but the girls and their neighbour were all ready to enjoy the pleasures of Larkhall Festival whatever the weather, note Jude is yet again eating!
Love their hats!
Fine weather here today and we had ATN community singing as usual this morning. Glad we did as the set list for our gig for next weekend’s Coronation celebration includes several songs we’ve only done a couple of times.
We didn’t do our usual shop after singing but called into our village garden centre for a coffee and to buy a couple of plants. We got a Fennel plant and a Rosemary, primarily for their decorative qualities rather than culinary, though no doubt the rosemary will be useful. We also got some sweet pea seedlings ready to plant up.
There were some nice Coronation displays ready for next weekend which I’ve put in an extra collage together with the bunting in the cafe at the garden centre at the other end of our village where we had a coffee at the end of our walk yesterday - top left. Nice to see they are making an effort and embracing the event.
Happy May Day!
