Valley of Vulcans

La Lena Wilderness Study Area. Yesterday's hike. (best viewed on black) This completes our 30th hike featured in the book, 60 Hikes within 60 Miles of Albuquerque.  We are not following any particular order within the book; we flip the pages and see what calls for exploration. As you might imagine, or maybe you can't, we never saw another car or human being in this vast wilderness.
