Nature Diary... A perfect end to a lovely day
It was a lovely day but not as warm as yesterday.
The cows in the distance meandered about up on the hill, peacefully munching on the the plentiful grass up there.
Two familiar local gulls didn't travel far today so they must have found a plentiful food supply early in the day.
The Sea Cadets spent most of the day moored safely offshore presumably learning whatever they're taught.
Later in the day a thick mist began to descend and I was just in time to remember I hadn't taken any photographs today and I was fortunate enough to take a few shots before the light failed.
So here are the gulls sitting companionably together on a rooftop in the last rays of the sun, looking out over the sea;
The cattle are still visible away up on the hill but the mist is descending rapidly around them;
And moving slowly away are the Sea Cadets in their rather lovely Vessel with the last rays of the sun highlighting their departure. I wonder if they will sleep on board tonight?
