snuggling up
Met J at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park on my way back from Sheffield. It was quiet when we arrived and threatening rain, which largely held off. YSP is a fantastic facility, both for the sculptures and the birds. I’ve never seen two herons huddled together like this before. There were several to be seen from the bird hide on the island in the upper lake.
As a nod to derelict Sunday I’m adding as an extra Daniel Arshams Unearthed Bronze Eroded Melpomene. Partially decayed his sculptures appear as ruins in the landscape.
