Almost completed the crossword in the Sunday paper

Two clues defeated me. Mrs FP took one look and rattled them off. Grrrrrr.

The dog and I got wet and muddy in equal measure (ok he won, he was closer to the wet and muddy, but the mud was so slippy on our walk I narrowly avoided a win).

So lack of tread - shopping for new walking boots tomorrow. I hate shopping for boots. I could pay £200 for a pair that would see me out or a £20 pair in Aldi that'll happily do a year before the sole departs. (That is sole not soul, I hope I have a couple of pairs of Aldi boots in me yet!!)
