Tree peony

Our mature tree peony has started to open its flowers but was a bit reticent due to rain. The forecast was for "light rain showers". It was incessant and sometimes heavy downpours!
Lots of things flowering in the garden.
Started the 4-day prep for the CT Colon. The Sunday evening meal looked somewhat sad with no veg!
