Northowram Scarecrow Festival 2023.

As is traditional, the May Day Bank holiday brings scarecrow fever to Northowram! Up and out early to go round this year's offerings so as to avoid it being too busy. It has been a very grey day, with heavy rain on and off from early afternoon, but it was possibly brightest first thing. Another little Brucie bonus!

The scarecrows on show ranged from a giant bee to Paul O'Grady, Mo Farah to Humpty Dumpty. I did like the pothole season warning sign too.

An event which always brings a smile. :-)
