Lauriston Castle

It’s been a pretty damp day today with rain on and off.  Late afternoon we had a wander round the grounds at Lauriston Castle - the rain was more on than off and typically, the sun was coming out as we were leaving. Nonetheless, the place was looking fresh, green and lovely, and the birds were singing all over the place. Bluebells were appearing and the cherry trees in the Japanese Friendship garden were putting on a show, with the promise of more to come. I’ve put a collage in as an extra.
