RSPB Loch Winnoch
We started our walk at RSPB Loch Winnoch in the drizzle, not too bad. A new 400m boardwalk opened two weeks ago extending the walk so we happily set off along it. Of course the rain got heavier when we were at the furthest point so it was not terribly pleasant coming back and we didn’t see many birds either, but never mind.
There were Canada Geese (shown in the photo), Greylag Geese, Swans, a pair of Grebe, a few Lapwings but unusually no small birds on the feeders nearer to the visitor centre, most unusual.
