New path, Bassenthwaite Lake

I popped over to Cockermouth for the weekly shop, and on the way back, Bassenthwaite looked very calm, so I pulled into a lay-by that I'd never parked in, as it didn't appear to have any access to the lake. But there was a path (that you can't see from the road) down to the lake edge and nature reserve. 

Liked the way the end of Little Dodd fitted into the notch in the tree.

In the evening we had the CC AGM, and presentation of trophies - extra is me receiving the Landscape PDI award
