Hot Selfie

When you’re going to spend three and a half hours out on the golf course it’s best to check the weather. This morning: chance of rain at 10am, then cloudy. That’s OK. Double checked at noon before I left the house: cloudy all afternoon. Great, no need to humph waterproofs or a brolly around. Well the cloudy forecast was on the button but what about the drizzle that came on? Or the rain that it soon turned into? Or the drizzle that came on after the rain had passed? I tell you, I was not a happy bunny. I’ll skip over the actual golf, that’s as much of a mention as it deserves.
Actually though, I was getting laudits when I arrived back in the clubhouse as a hitch in the scoring system had me down as scoring a 54! Ah, if only!
