Weekend camper trip to The Burren area in Co Galway and Co Clare. Stunning warm sunny day until we got there then it clouded over ! Walk on the beach at Bishops Quarter where we could hear but not see the Skylarks . Basil in dog heaven on beach and in the sea with a ball.
Parked up in Ballyvaughan on the old pier with a couple of other campers , see the still sea view in extra. Interesting old derelict house nearby that had beautiful old fire places , had a good look about but it was ready to fall down so stayed outside .
Dinner at the Hylands Burren Hotel ( thanks to Ben for recommendation) to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary on 3rd May . Beautiful fish speciality restaurant and we were v happy with our choices in food and marriage!! He’s a mighty grand hubby and we do laugh together a lot . We strolled around the village after and then snuggled up in the camper , with Basil beside himself with joy at being on the bed ! He kept wriggling higher and higher until his head was on my pillow and his body was under the quilt ! Nice try pup but you get back to your blanket beside me .
