Two days in one!

As I looked back along the beach at the end of my morning walk there were two worlds out there - the blue and the sparkling surf of the north end of Embleton Bay and the grey surly surf of the south. Unfortunately the grey won out in the afternoon and our trip to Alnmouth was a miserable affair with the tide higher than normal and with little space to walk on the beach. Fortunately the tea-room made up for our earlier disappointment on the beach. Early evening was beautiful, the wind had dropped and the beach wreathed in sun. Mum and Nic managed a short walk on the beach and a trip to the Ship Inn to buy a bottle of their home brewed beer.

My mobile connection failed me in the last few days we were on holiday - the blue sky is dedicated to Guiri.
