Old Boards

I need a small table to fit next to my recliner in the RV.  What I want is very unlikely to be available commercially so I'm going to make it.  
     I had an old, rough-cut board in the garage that was wide enough and long enough to serve the purpose of required material.
     Once I had run it through the plainer I realized it was a piece of walnut that I had brought from my father's home place.  That means that the little table will be made from wood my great-grandfather put into storage in his barn more than a century ago.
