Two Halves

A subdued Thursday Gang today, torrential rain probably not an accurate description, the noise of the rain hitting the conservatory roof was deafening, didn’t help. I did a little more of the PAT Testing and helped in clearing outside. Reports that the pitch had been turned into a mud bath seemed exaggerated, it’s the end of the season and it’s to be expected it’s essential that it is given the summer to recover though.

It cleared up in the afternoon and I enjoyed a leisurely walk with Paddy, he had the opportunity to ‘freestyle’ in the Swanpool stream, which he enjoyed.

We arrived back on our road to find that the dry afternoon had allowed the tar to go down, no cars just a wide clear expanse. No doubt it will fill up before the markings are painted.
