Writing in untranslated script

Widely believed to be extraterrestrial in origin.

Under no circumstances attempt to remove the stone from the wall. Nobody who has done so has survived. Their scant, horribly-mangled remains are usually found, several days later, in the river. The stone is found placed back in the wall: it is not known how or by whom this is done.

Many assume that the writing is a warning. Others that it is a lure.
